> Larissa Snorek, “No anxious thought,” Sentinel, December 4, 2023
I loved the entire December 4 Sentinel, starting with the editorial. I could immediately apply these ideas regarding anxiety to what I was feeling about the upcoming primary elections in our state. I needed to yield to the thought that they are in God’s hands, not mine—and I could! As Jenny Sawyer’s delightful retelling of Nehemiah’s story puts it, I could “Pray, listen, and follow.” We need to turn to God, divine Mind, with our whole heart and attention and then follow through on what we’re asked to do. With no anxious thought!

The connection to the Beatitudes powerfully addressed anxiety. I very much enjoyed how the theme unfolded, and the examples brought great clarity.

> Ben Frederick, “To the lost sheep,” Sentinel, December 4, 2023
This is one of the most beautiful poems I’ve ever read. It filled me with such reassurance, comfort, and peace. I’m certain it will reach longing hearts like mine.
