Prayer dissolves skin growth
In 2020, a small growth appeared on one of my arms, eventually spreading into a patch of discoloration on my skin.
To seek healing for this, I turned to Christian Science—the laws of healing practiced by Christ Jesus. This spiritual understanding of divine law assures us that disease is not a reality created by God but an illusion produced by false belief—an error of thought. The Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, says: “Discord is the nothingness named error. Harmony is the somethingness named Truth” (Mary Baker Eddy, p. 276).
Previously, through wholehearted reliance on Christian Science, I had experienced healings of numerous physical problems, such as deafness in one ear, a sprained ankle, flu, and a persistent cough, to name a few. So I was confident that I could pray to find healing of this condition as well. I began metaphysical treatment through prayer along with study of the Bible and Science and Health, certain that the divine law of harmony would prevail.
