Helpful imagery

[“Self-immolation: Purifying, not condemning, self,” William Whittenbury, Sentinel, March 15, 2021]

I really loved this article. I found the image of “turn[ing] on the self-cleaning oven” so helpful. It has given me a way to deal with falling short of the standards I expect of myself. Just burn away those false conceptions and see the true self. Thank you so much.

Fresh, connected, accessible

[Judith Hardy Olson, “The truth about trials,” Sentinel, March 8, 2021]

Great article. It feels fresh, connected, and accessible. Thank you to everyone who made this fine offering in the Sentinel possible.

Simple and Direct

[Joy Able, “Burn healed and singing voice recovered,” Sentinel, March 8, 2021]

This is a simple and direct testimony showing two contrasting healings, one through alertness and the other through patience. It makes me determined to handle my own problems with hope and the conviction of God’s constant care.
