Son freed from head pain
One night, I was woken up by my youngest boy, who needed some help. He was endeavoring to pray about a headache as he has learned to pray in Christian Science Sunday School.
I assured him that all was well and that his true identity is spiritual, thus always harmonious and incapable of being touched or disturbed by matter.
After a short while, I suggested he ponder “the scientific statement of being” on page 468 in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, while I went on affirming the facts of being and denying any reality in matter or a seemingly painful body. The statement begins, “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter.”
