A healing message: “Keep looking”
My husband and I were on a trip to Monument Valley in Utah when we had a reminder of the power of divine Mind to correct and eliminate doubt and fear. We had been driving around the park for a couple of hours, enjoying the breathtaking formations and making frequent stops to get out of the car and take pictures.
At the end of the tour I touched my wedding ring, as I so often do, playfully turning it around on my finger, and realized suddenly that the engagement ring beside it was gone. Exclaiming “My ring is gone!” I looked at my husband with tears in my eyes and was tempted to panic. But we both decided we had to stay calm and think clearly.
On our way to the park, I had taken my engagement ring off and laid it on my lap when I put lotion on my hands, and obviously had forgotten to put the ring back on. I assumed that it had either fallen in the car, or fallen off my lap as I stepped out of the car to take the first picture. The ring was nowhere in the car, so now I became very upset, thinking it could be anywhere in the red sand of the desert, impossible to find.
