Today I prayed …
that flesh has not a claim nor hold
to spout a lie, however bold.
Flesh cannot claim my wholeness is a fraud,
for I celebrate eternal oneness with my God.
Held safely in God’s arms, forever near,
I rest assured; I need not fear
the challenges that seem so dark and dim,
for there is only light and love with Him.
