Severe toe injury healed
About one year ago, I sustained a severe injury to my big toe. I called a Christian Science practitioner right away for Christian Science treatment. However, because of an overriding family concern, I found myself in the emergency room. I then ended up being detained in the hospital for nine nights because the injury had penetrated so deeply that it had reached the bone. Nonetheless, I refused to take any drugs, as I was not going to let anything prevent me from continuing to rely on God for healing.
I found it difficult to pray in the hospital because of constant interruptions related to a variety of tests and examinations. I started wishing that I could be in a place that felt more conducive to prayer, such as a Christian Science Reading Room, a Christian Science nursing facility, or a Church of Christ, Scientist.
