Praying with precision
Though I had been looking forward to Christian Science Primary class instruction, I hadn’t known just how wonderful it would be. It’s hard to put such a remarkable and healing experience into words.
I had almost attended class with another teacher a couple of years prior, but ultimately it hadn’t been the right fit. When the time was right, I was led to the right class for me. And though it was in another state, I ended up having what I needed in terms of money, time, and care for my children while I was gone—proofs of God’s abundant good!
Our class was clearly brought together by listening for direction from divine Mind, God. In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy says, “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need” (p. 494). We felt that presence of divine Love over those two weeks. In each other we found a sense of family and unconditional love. We helped one another let go of old beliefs that weren’t serving us, and we replaced them with the truths we were learning about our relationship to God.
