Eating disorder ended
I’d like to share a healing that shows the power of Christian Science prayer to heal issues and conditions thought to be addictive.
As a teenager, I developed an eating disorder that continued into my 20s; I would often decide to throw up my food after eating. It was in my 20s that I really discovered and committed to Christian Science.
Shortly after marriage, I became an active member of a wonderfully loving, growing Christian Science branch church full of people who were eager to learn about healing. I was really progressing spiritually in this environment and had several encouraging healings, but I hadn’t really addressed the eating disorder because I found it so embarrassing. I just couldn’t bring myself to admit what I’d been doing or come to terms with my need for help.
