No overlooked solution
Huge problems. Even huger solutions. Many people yearn to see global warming in just these terms. The challenges appear immense. Can the remedies be even more so? Maybe the most promising answers are not only bigger than anyone guessed. Maybe they are closer as well.
Now, the Sentinel is not promoting or endorsing a specific course of action. But it is interesting to watch as creative ideas come to light. For example, David Milarch from Archangel Ancient Tree Archive said, “We need to reforest the planet; … To do that, it just makes sense to use the largest, oldest, most iconic trees that ever lived.” He refers here to giant redwood and sequoia trees, often found along the northern California coast. These immense trees can consume, digest, huge amounts of carbon dioxide—a key factor in global warming—way more than any other trees on the planet.
Could kindred prayer today help us glimpse towering answers, unnoticed but already present?
