Healed of injuries after a fall
Late one night in October 2010, I suddenly lost consciousness while walking on an elevated train station platform near my home. The station was deserted, and when I woke up several minutes later, I realized I had fallen from the platform onto the tracks, breaking my right leg and ankle, my right hand, and my left elbow in the fall. I wasn’t able to move and didn’t know when the next train would arrive on the track.
This is where the learning began. As I lay there, a thought with all the force in the world entered my mind: “I can trust my Father-Mother God. I will survive this moment and get on with my life.” Part of me was shocked to feel so calm in this situation, but I had no desire to question that angel thought. I knew that I could follow God’s will, which is only and always good. In spite of the physical pain, I had no doubt that I was truly whole and complete. I felt a strong sense of God’s presence and in the midst of that moment I knew that I was completely encircled by divine Love. I also recognized that fear didn’t have to paralyze my thinking, because there was no place for fear in God’s creation.
With that thought, I was able to roll myself off the main part of the track. I yelled for help, but no one was on the station platform. Soon a train arrived on the opposite track and a woman getting off the train heard my calls for help and quickly called the local fire department. Thirty minutes later I was lying on a hospital bed in the intensive care unit.
