From the Board of Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society
We are writing to share with you several changes in the roles and responsibilities of members of the management team of The Christian Science Publishing Society.
With deep gratitude for new milestones recently achieved in the level of audience engagement with The Christian Science Monitor, and with the still challenging road ahead to reach longer-term objectives, we have asked Jonathan Wells to return full time to his role as Managing Publisher of The Christian Science Monitor. He will continue to work closely with Susan Hackney, who will retain her expanded role as Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for the Monitor.
As he has done so ably for the past few years, Jonathan will drive the overall strategic direction of the Monitor, working to increase existing and new forms of revenue to bring the Monitor to a financially sustainable basis. Susan will oversee the development of the Monitor’s major platforms, including Web, print, and digital products.
