Divine Mind moves you
Some people may think this statement by Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, “Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action” (p. 283), simply means that when we do something like pick up a spoon, there is a mental cause for the action instead of matter acting on its own.
This statement basically says that Mind, referring to God, is the source of all action. Well, there is truth in the assumption that this is pointing to a mental cause for action. But that only barely hints at the full significance of the statement. It actually is a divine law that governs all of reality. And it defines everything from the slightest movement within or regarding your body, to the movement or direction of a conversation, to where your whole life is headed, to every event in the universe.
You can’t make a move without this law having purpose in your experience.
