LETTERS

What a wonderful issue ["Healing dysfunction," June 30] from cover to cover! I loved Ruth Jenks's comment: "Everyone has opinions, but we need to remember that an opinion is a belief strong enough to be an impression, but not strong enough to be the truth." Powerful words!

Then, LaMeice Harding's article, " 'Kingdom living' and healthy relationships," was excellent throughout. Her description of "climbing higher," using the example of climbing a mountain, was so practical. Following this, she shared a wonderful experience of understanding her relationship with her dad, and it brought me to tears. Also, she stated: "It isn't necessarily who's right; it's what's right, what's true, and what lines up with God's point of view." And I appreciated her terrific statement, in the last paragraph: "God never made a bunch of misfits just trying to get along." Thanks, LaMeice, for sharing your thoughts in a way that's so easy to understand and then put into practice.
