CHANGE FOR GOOD

On an airplane, I put some loose change into an envelope marked "Change for Good" in the seat pocket in front of me. What a wonderful name, I thought. This UNICEF children's charity, partnering with airlines, has raised millions of dollars from travelers like me.

The name stuck with me. And it got me thinking about the whole idea of change. Often it seems that change of any kind appears threatening, even overwhelming—definitely not good. Is it possible for change to feel like a good thing?

Well, perhaps to start with, consider this: God is good alone. God doesn't change. As a matter of fact, His tender love and watchful care don't come and go, but are natural and constant throughout His entire creation. This fact is true whatever may be going on around you.
