FOOT PROBLEM HEALED

One morning at about 3:00 o'clock, I sat straight up in bed, awakened by this thought: You can't see others as aging while claiming that you're ageless as God's reflection.

I'd been retired for several years, and on a recent visit to my former workplace, it was something of a surprise to see several of my colleagues still there. They were overdue for retirement, I thought.

But I'd just been joilted out of that perspective. Christian Science promises that God's children are immortal, not fettered by the imprisoning and limiting concept of age-related evaluations. Science and Health explains, "God expresses in man the infinite idea forever developing itself, broadening and rising higher and higher from a boundless basis" (p. 258). I saw that, in addition to proving for myself the forever-unfolding capacities and capabilities that God gives, I needed to affirm this as the spiritual reality for everyone.
