LETTERS

After reading Susan Rynerson's article, "Love moved me ... to Spain" in the July 21 & 28 Sentinel ["The adventure of Life"] and then turning a page in the August 4 issue on the Olympics and seeing a cute chicken staring out from the page at me in Robert Bullock's article, "Here is your home," I felt a heavy heart being lifted. I'd started to feel homesick, purposeless, and concerned about income based on dollars. Well, now more than ever, I think of Susan's statement, "So I stopped focusing on my needs and began to love everything around me."

My first year on this farm there were many wild, hungry cats, and it was wrenching not to be able help. So, I thought a lot about Robert Bullock's comment that "God values and cares for all of His creation equally." A lot of the cats have now found wonderful homes, and there are no more uncared for critters on our mountain plateau.

Thank you for each Sentinel. They are priceless.
