PROOF OF MY FAITH

Playing sports is my favorite hobby. Whether it's on the golf course, the pitcher's mound, or the gridiron, I'm 100 percent focused and dedicated, no questions asked. I see ways in which my character, integrity, and even spirituality have been developed on those fields. From sports, I've also learned teamwork, steadfastness, and grace.

A few years back when I was college, I had an opportunity to play football. It added a lot to my college experience, and every day I was the field, I was grateful for the opportunity.

Before starting my senior year, with summer practice in full swing, I was preparing myself for one last season with my team. As we ran through drills, I took a step up to take my turn. Taking the handoff, I felt a sharp pain run down my entire leg. The pain was so intense, I couldn't walk or even stand.
