GRATEFUL FOR MANY HEALINGS

For nearly 90 years, Christian Science has been my way of life, and I cannot go another day without shouting for joy for the privilege of having this wonderful religion in my life. My parents were not Christian Scientists, but they sent me to a Christian Science Sunday School from the time I was young What a gift!

I'm grateful for God's protection, His direction, His comfort, and His care. The world says that I am an aging mortal, but in Christian Science I've learned this is not the truth about me. The real me is spiritual and immortal, created in the image and likeness of God, as the Bible says in Genesis (see 1:26).

A recent healing of my foot helped solidify this truth for me. I don't know why, but walking suddenly became very painful. It was perhaps a year before I completely regained harmony. But it was a precious growing time in my understanding of my spirituality—and after a lifetime of healing in Christian Science, I never doubted that I would regain my freedom.
