From injury to freedom
My days were full of activities when we were preparing to move about three years ago. One day as I was carrying two big boxes to the car, I lost my footing as I stepped off a curb. The street had just recently been coated with gooey tar and tiny stones. The foot I had in the street twisted one way, while the foot on the curb twisted another.
Even as I was falling into the street, I prayed. Immediately God's angel message came to me, "Get up." It wasn't easy to do; yet, I made the effort and did it. More prayer enabled me to make my way inside and slowly up a flight of stairs to our apartment.
Over the next couple of days I wasn't able to move very well. It appeared there were broken bones and much swelling in both my ankles and feet.
