CHURCH LIVES
Thinking outside the building
A CONTINUING SERIES ON HOW CHURCH IS ACTIVE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES
WHY DID I become a member of a church? Because of the opportunities membership provides. Where else do I get the opportunity to recharge my batteries when I'm feeling depressed, inadquate, frustrated? Where else do I get the opportunity to help others as I help myself? Where else do I get the opportunity to wrestle with world problems? Where else do I get the opportunity to battle apathy, fatigue, discouragement?
The nice thing about seeing Church as "the structure
of Truth and Love" is that, unlike a building, you can take it with you.
