Millions of people every day are struggling to find their place in the work world. Jerry Stevens knows. He's a quality consultant for one of the top hotel groups in North America. Odds are if you have stayed at a hotel in the United States, Jerry may have had a say on the quality of your stay.

Although it is Jerry's job to make sure guests always have an enjoyable visit, the past year for him has been anything but a vacation.

A while ago, Jerry received a phone call from the client he'd been working with for the past four and a half years. The news was that Jerry, like millions of other people across the country, had become a statistic in the company's downsizing.
