“Come on,” cried Moses. “We have to keep going!”
The long line of people and animals moved slowly forward over the hot desert sand. They were following Moses, the man who had saved them from slavery in Egypt and was guiding them to the Promised Land.
“Hee-haw,” brayed the donkeys, loaded down with the people's belongings.
