Back pain and injury healed

I'm very grateful for all that the study of Christian Science has brought to my life. Its promise that we can all understand God, no matter what our social class, our age, or our level of education, helps us overcome all types of barriers. A substantial way of deepening this study is by taking a course of instruction from a Christian Science teacher. Seventeen years ago I decided to take this course, and I chose a teacher who lived in the United States.

After all the preparations had been made, and only three days before my departure, a problem came up. At the time I lived alone, and I kept chickens and a small vegetable garden. I was working hard to leave everything in order because I would be away for two weeks.

Suddenly I leaned down, and when I tried to straighten up, I felt a pain in my back that was so severe that I couldn't return to an upright position. Bent over, I reached my room and lay down. I immediately began to pray to God and to acknowledge that nothing could prevent good from manifesting itself.
