Facial lump dissolved through prayer

For many years I had a small, hard lump on one side of my face. It was not particularly noticeable at first, and I simply put up with it. I decided that I would just "live with it," since I had no problem shaving and friends seldom commented about it.

I didn't consider having the lump surgically removed, because I was used to dealing with any problem through prayer. In the past, prayer had been the form of treatment I'd used for other physical difficulties, and I knew that I could rely on it this time, too. But since I wasn't really very bothered by this lump, the most I did was to pray halfheartedly from time to time about it.

Then the lump began to enlarge, and a neighbor commented to me that I'd better do something about it. Although I said that I was taking care of it, I knew that, really, I was not dealing with the situation as I should. I then called a Christian Science practitioner and asked her to pray with me about this condition.
