Prayer heals seriously ill child
Original in French
When she was 14 months old, my little girl suffered with diarrhea. I was in the bedroom when someone came to tell me her condition was critical. My wife looked desperate.
I handed her the Bible so that she could read the following words of Jesus: "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me," and "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father" (John 14:1, 12).
Then I told my wife, "If I pray with all my heart for the healing of our daughter, the loving God, our permanent help, will give us nothing but healing."
