Dear Sentinel
One day last spring when my sister and I came home from school, the weather was perfect. Earlier in the day, the sky had been pitch black, but we didn't think anything of it. Later in the afternoon, I saw that the weather was pitch black again, and it was raining very hard. I called my mother on the phone, and she told me to start praying. I knew that good thoughts are my armor,* and that these thoughts come from God. Therefore He would protect us. The storm stopped, so I went outside and found out a tornado had come through our neighborhood. My house was untouched.
