Dear Sentinel

I was swimming in the backstroke event. Backstroke is not my best or favorite stroke, and I was not looking forward to the race. I had a very good start, but when I began to do my flip turn I was about two yards from the wall. As a result, I was disqualified from the race.

At first I was upset, to say the least. I thought the warning flags had been misplaced on purpose. When I got into the car after the meet was over, I started to calm down and pray. I prayed to get rid of feelings that the other team had cheated. Instead, I only thought about the other team members being God's children. I no longer felt upset and cheated. I then went on to have a wonderful day.
