This testimony is long overdue
This testimony is long overdue. Words alone cannot express what I feel in my heart for having been raised in Christian Science. First, I must give thanks to all of you before me who have shared your testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals. I am so thankful for the inspiration you have given me in my own healing endeavors.
I have had so many healings I could write a book. But one particular experience stands out that I wish to share here.
When I decided to rush a fraternity house in the spring semester of my sophomore year in college, I was already taking a full load of classes. It was an exciting time but also a stressful one as I developed friendships, worked to keep my grades up, and tried to find time for myself. Midway through the semester, right after spring break, it seemed as though the obligations were becoming overwhelming and I was physically beginning to wear down.
