For many years I wanted to know how to achieve the kind of healings that are found in the Bible. I wondered if they belonged to a bygone age or if they were events that occurred, or could occur, mysteriously.

When I became acquainted with Christian Science, I thought that perhaps I would find out about this point that interested me so much. At that time I was living in an unhappy family situation, and I felt especially frustrated and unsatisfied.
