One day at the beginning of junior high, as I was just getting out of math class, all of a sudden I started having a headache. I prayed right away, trying to know that God is good and so a headache couldn't be true, but it was hard because of the pain. My next was English, and I took a test. But by lunchtime, I needed to ask my teacher if I could call my mom and she OK.
My mom came right away, picked me up, and took me home. I didn't say anything for a while. I just kept praying the Lord's Prayer and said to myself "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
I went to my room when we got home and lay down. My mom came in and started reading the Bible Lesson to me from the Christian Science Quarterly, and I was listening really carefully. I felt very peaceful. Then I fell asleep. About an hour later my mom said, "Do you want to go to school now?" I said that I felt really good. I popped out of bed got all ready for school, and I asked if I could have some lunch. She said "Sure," and then called my grandpa to take me to school because she had an important appointment.
