I'd like to express my gratitude for a wonderful healing I've had
I'd like to express my gratitude for a wonderful healing I've had.
One day I was coughing and sneezing a lot. My mom stopped me and reminded me that God is All-in-all. Because I'm God's child, nothing bad could happen to me. I am all good, and God made only good.
A couple of days later, my mom told me I should be grateful for the healing I had. I was healed so quickly I couldn't even remember being sick. I am grateful that God is always protecting me through everything that happens.

I remember this day well, because the coughing and sneezing hadn't slowed Aaron down, and I caught him as he was running through the kitchen. I reminded him that he had to deny the symptoms. They were no more part of him than a piece of sticky tape someone might have stuck on him. As he states in his testimony, we affirmed his existence as God's child. Aaron went on his way. Later I considered this statement from Science and Health: "The great truth in the Science of being, that the real man was, is, and ever shall be perfect, is incontrovertible; for if man is the image, reflection, of God, he is neither inverted nor subverted, but upright and Godlike."
One thing I have tried to do with the children is have them acknowledge and be grateful for their healings. As Mrs. Eddy asks: "Are we really grateful for the good already received? Then we shall avail ourselves of the blessings we have, and thus be fitted to receive more" (Science and Health). I have found that acknowledging the healings and giving gratitude for them help the children ground themselves on the fact that God is the healer.
A couple of days later I realized Aaron had had an instantaneous healing. He hadn't coughed or sneezed at all after that. When I reminded him to be grateful for his healing, he looked puzzled. I had to remind him of the incident a couple of days before. He was overjoyed, and we both gave gratitude to God.
