Bea Roegge: Today we're talking about "spiritual healing"—providing healing proof that God cares for us in every avenue of our lives and heals our physical illnesses. We have with us today Barbara Vining from Toledo, Ohio.

Barbara, tell us about one of your first healings.

Barbara Vining: It was my very first healing, Bea. I wasn't at all looking for physical healing. I was searching for a better understanding of God. It was just after high-school graduation. Every day I walked past a Christian Science Reading Room on my way to and from my summer job. One day I went in, studied, asked some questions, and purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I was very curious about what this book was all about because I had friends and relatives who love to study it.
