I am extremely grateful for a healing that demonstrated to me as never before the power of the Christ operating in human consciousness.

I had been having considerable pain and discomfort in my lower abdomen. I prayed about this. But when there was no apparent improvement, I requested the help of a Christian Science practitioner. We worked together, properly identifying me in my real being as the child of God, created in His image and existing only as His reflection. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy states (p. 492): "For right reasoning there should be but one fact before the thought, namely, spiritual existence. In reality there is no other existence, since Life cannot be united to its unlikeness, mortality"

While this inspired work was going on, any suggestion of fear was quickly refuted with Bible passages such as this one in Isaiah (59:19): "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."
