My thanks and gratitude go to God for the numerous blessings...
My thanks and gratitude go to God for the numerous blessings and healings I have had in Christian Science over the past few years. I am also thankful for two wonderful Scientists whose love inspired me to return to the study and practice of this Science.
About four years ago nothing was working out for me the way I wanted it to. Although I had grown up in Christian Science, I had strayed from this teaching after high school. My attendance at branch church services had stopped. I also began smoking. At first smoking was fun. But I soon found myself with a habit I could not drop.
At about that time my grades in college were getting worse. Because of nonattendance I lost a year of credits toward my engineering degree. As things kept slipping away, I became deeply upset.
