What you need
Among the most loved and quoted statements by Mrs. Eddy is this: "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." Science and Health, p. 494.
Both a promise and a declaration of fact, this sentence has brought comfort and assurance to thousands who have read it in Mrs. Eddy's book Science and Health or seen it on the walls of many Christian Science churches.
It is natural that the Science of Christianity should recognize the correlation between spiritual devotion and supply for human needs. Basic to Judeo-Christian thought is Moses' message to the children of Israel that there is only one God. They were to love, obey, and serve God with all their heart and soul and might. This was their basic obligation in their great covenant with God.
