Acknowledgment of God's perfect law heals broken wrist

I am really grateful to be a Christian Science Sunday School student, and for a lovely proof of God's care. When I was in the fifth grade, playing on a girls' soccer team, during our last game a member of the other team and I went for the ball at the same time. We bumped and fell. My mom and dad, who coach our team, helped me off the field.

A doctor, who was watching the game, came over to help. She looked at my wrist and said that it was broken. Then she offered to make an immediate appointment at the hospital. My mother said no, thank you, but that she appreciated her kindness and concern. My mother said this because she knew I would be choosing Christian Science help. My dad stayed and coached the rest of the game.

On the way home in the car, Mother and I agreed that going to the hospital wasn't necessary. Instead, we needed to see that I was already perfect. When we arrived home, we called a Christian Science practitioner. The practitioner came over, and we talked. I told him it did hurt a little, but I was not afraid.
