I started going to the Christian Science Sunday School when I was three. I've been healed of chicken pox, and measles too, in a very short time. And last summer when I was away at camp I was healed of warts on my hands and legs.

One day last year, while Mom was driving our car pool to school in the morning, I started to feel ill. When I told Mom, she said I could stay in the car and go home.

On the way we talked about how God loves and cares for me just like He cares for the birds we could see out the car window. We also talked about how I can trust God to help me—the way I trust my mom—because He loves me so. Mom told me about something Mrs. Eddy wrote in Science and Health (p.326): "All nature teaches God's love to man, but man cannot love God supremely and set his whole affections on spiritual things, while loving the material or trusting in it more than in the spiritual." Then, together we remembered some of the hymns I had learned in Sunday School.
