Rising to the full potential of being

Claim Your Divine Rights

You can claim your divine right to health and joy, and accept "the glorious liberty of the children of God." Rom. 8:21; Understanding your true identity as God's spiritual offspring, you can claim freedom from enslaving material fears—such as fear of insufficient supply, fear of inadequacy, and fear of poor health and its consequences. Mrs. Eddy assures us: "The understanding, even in a degree, of the divine All-power destroys fear, and plants the feet in the true path,—the path which leads to the house built without hands 'eternal in the heavens.'" Science and Health, p. 454;

We master our fears as we claim our spiritual sonship and confidently rest in the understanding that we are at one with the Father. In Science man is never dethroned from his inherent likeness to his creator. The demand to claim our spiritual sonship and to demonstrate it confronts everyone. We must look through the mist of materiality to discern our true being, which is spiritual. To better understand our spiritual identity we look to the great Teacher and Exemplar, Christ Jesus, our Way-shower.

Almost two thousand years ago Jesus brought the message of God's spiritual, eternal nature. Some accepted his divine message. Others could not see his royal being—his role as representative of the Ruler of all. Unable to perceive the Christ-idea in Jesus' high example of manhood, they saw the lowly man Jesus rather than the divine nature of the Christ, revealing the Science of true, spiritual being. But Jesus claimed his inheritance of eternal life and disclaimed the power of fleshly belief. He manifested the Christ-idea, which is forever available to uncover and annihilate unreal beliefs.
