The study and practice of Christian Science opens up a panorama of possibilities undreamed of by the limited material senses. Limitations are put off in the degree that one learns in Science that man and the universe are actually spiritually mental, unconfined by the seeming rigidity of matter and its so-called laws.
In Christian Science, all matter, including the human body, is understood to be an illusion, a mortally mental phenomenon similar to the seemingly substantive images one encounters in a dream. As this vital point in metaphysics is grasped, the possibility of controlling and expanding one's human experience becomes apparent.
The spiritual man and universe, which material sense seems to counterfeit and hide, is the true creation of God. To break the chains of limitation, we need to live in close fellowship with spiritual reality. We need to turn to it in consciousness again and again until our sense of God's allness and man's spiritual perfection becomes clearly established.
