has brought many blessings into my life.
As
a boy I attended a Christian Science Sunday School, but I drifted away from its teachings upon entering the naval service at the age of eighteen.
Several
years after I was married a friend who was a Christian Scientist asked me to look into her religion, and she lent me the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs.
Even
though I had a loving family life, I was still lonely and self-conscious and suffering from a chronic bladder condition which had prevented me from joyfully doing anything away from home and which materia medica did not help and Christian Science treatment had till then only alleviated.
My
reason for becoming interested in Christian Science was not a need for physical healing.
Each
day I am more grateful for the demonstrable, powerful truths which unfold as we strive to grow closer to God through Christian Science.
