[Written for the Sentinel]

Victory

Fear can never stay the armiesThat are marching on for God.Fear can never wield the pressureOf a sanctifying rod.For the holy truth is marchingIn invincible array,Breaking through the stoutest barrierThat would dim the light of day.

Yea, our God is One, and alwayLord, and Life, and Truth, and Love,Ever with divine compassionDrawing mortals far aboveAll the fear and all the anguishOf earth's weary dream, and wild,Proving to man every hourThat he is God's holy child.
