Pleasant View in Autumn

From tree, and field, and shady nookThe birds their southward way are wending.Beneath their weight of ripened fruitThe orchard trees their branches bending.To leafy walks a fairy charmThe trees their new-found tints are lending,And with the sunset skies aflameTheir wondrous colors now are blending.
