Some of the Blessings I have Received
How I came to investigate Christian Science, I do not know, as I did not turn to it for relief in sickness, neither had I ever known any one to be healed by it, but rather because of an inherent desire for knowledge and Truth, I must have been guided and drawn by Truth. But since I have tasted its spiritual glory and received its rich blessings of health and such beautiful manifestations of what Life, Truth, Love, really are, I do know I can never leave it.
I am a traveling man and always made it a point to attend church every Sabbath, as I enjoyed giving my thoughts a trend towards good morals and righteousness at least a part of one day in seven.
One Sabbath morning, near the middle of last August, while looking over the church directory at Lincoln, Neb., I noticed the opportunity of visiting a Christian Science Church, and at once decided to attend and learn what those people and their services were like.
