Grand Rapids Herald

M'Elphatrick, a Methodist minister of Grand Rapids, Mich.,A correction was made in the December 12, 1901 Sentinel: "A letter from Grand Rapids, Mich., contains the following:— I ought to let you know that the statement in regard to Mr. M'Elphatrick's being a resident of Grand Rapids was not correct. That mistake was probably due to the fact that in reporting the case we did not make that matter clear. He is a resident of Detroit, in which city the paper with which he is connected is published. He was in Grand Rapids temporarily at the time the incident occurred." published an article in the Grand Rapids Herald against Christian Science. He severely criticised it, expressing his opinion that it was of the devil.
