WAIT ON MIND

Restrain false fervorbefore words flickerfrom unmeditating lips, before considered paintbrush slipsfrom guidance into unconsidered splash.

A LIBRARIAN'S PRAYER

I asked God in the morningTo use me for His glory,To fill my thought, to form my wordsTo tell the simple story

"WHEN I CONSIDER THY HEAVENS..."

The stars that in their courses moveAre not haphazard motes astrayAlong the vulnerable wayOf time and circumstance.

GRATITUDE

Sky cannotroof insuch rushof summer joy:I hear you shoutin the sudden rainwashing your eyes.

MORE LOVING TODAY

I obeyed , yes, I obeyedin one small thing: My tent was madea little larger.

THE HUNDREDTH SHEEP

He is not lost who, though he stray, continues searching for the way;nor is he lost who wars with sinand prays, and listens and obeys.

GOD'S DAY

Thy sun shall shine forever, light in perpetuity.
