Whose news?

God’s?

(An angel whispers:)

Why look to error for truth?
Why search nothingness, no one, and never?
Your God right at hand is now, All—
all Life and all Mind, all Soul, and all one
with Her children, who never can fall.

Why look to error for truth?
Why look to what isn’t to know what is?
What isn’t is always a never.
What is is always a presence and power.
What is always fills every hour.
What is, my dear, always was.

Why heed some dream-serpent’s malevolent lies
never heard by the wakeful of God?
Why search through a past only lies have contrived
—a search through dark shadows and fog?
In the beginning, there was the Word,
and the Word that was spoken was God’s.
In Him was Life,
the light of all men,
so the only words broadcast are God’s.

“I am the Way, the Truth,” says Christ.
“And my Truth is the only Life—
the life of light,
revealing forever
all safe in God’s arms,
where nothing can sever
God’s knowing from all that is known.”

So look to the Christ for this light.
Look to what’s perfect and pure.
Look through God’s eyes and see
eternal reality.
