Seeing ourselves as God does
Chris Jones
That innocent child of yesteryear,
so good and pure and free,
turns out to be all that was ever true
about you or me.
For this is the way by God we’re known,
no matter what our past may hold.
What counts is not the mistakes we’ve made
but the growth each day unfolds.
So let’s stop reliving regrets and faults,
lamenting every blunder,
and start perceiving through eyes divine
our glorious, God-given wonder.
