Coming home
Susan Dilling
The prodigal came home to his true selfhood,
The identity he’d never really left behind.
He was forever cared for and beloved,
The blessing he received ever constant and kind.
One with God in word and deed,
He learned the peace of heavenly living,
Conscious of good and guided rightly,
Sharing the blessings of divine Love’s giving.
