Give me the shepherd heart,Vigilant, tender,Wakeful to all human need,Quick to discern the mental callOf the wayward, the weary, the willful,Famishing for word of Truth.

ASSURANCE

Serene my thought to greet each newborn day,Unquestioning my trust in Mind's directing.

No death is theirs who visiblyHave left us, It is only weWould make the parting real, would layThem in some sepulcher—not theyWho wake to Life's bright victory.

We are not poor, alone, nor old,Though mortal sense may argue thus;We are joint heirs with Christ and holdThe wealth that God prepares for us.

TRUE AGE

Dominion over fleeting days is hereAnd can be understoodBy knowing life not measured by the year,But by unfolded good.
